Xbox 360 and ps3.

which one do you like more? or is better than the other..

If you have one of these consoles you will probly go for the one you have. being biased. possibly.

I like both... In terms of power, PS3 is better only because it came out years after 360. Other than that, it all comes down to what you have that will make your mind. The PS3 guys obviously don't like 360's, the 360 guys don't like PS3 and PC people just don't like either ..... Each have games that make them so great. 360: Halo 3, Mass Effect, Gears of War, and did have Bioshock for a while. PS3: Resistance, Haze, Heavenly Sword and Metal Gear Solid 4. I have both so I have an awesome perspective on the whole thing, and all of you who only have one can't really say anything without being biased, no offence or anything. Also, PS3 may have free online gaming, but 360 has ALOT more games right now, so it evens out..... If you guys are gonna say that 360 breaks easier, think of it this way: PC people don't even have a guarantee that their games will always run, so at least you have that to be thankful of.

i think PS3 is better cause you cn do so much more with it and my parents are going to buy 1 for me

2. Xbox 360 wil almost go
3. It has blueray and you most buy Blueray in store for 800 why not PS3 and its 600
4. You can do a little WI
5. Its made by Sony XD
6. It owns Xbox360 for some reason

Metal gear and the few other good games for PS3 doesn't change the fact that it is essentially a pricey blu-ray player

Xbox has more good exclusive titles.
The difference in graphics is barely noticeable at best and thats if you have a HD-TV, especially for cross-platform titles.
The online services is better then Sony's even if you have to pay for it, which you could probably do for a year with the difference in the consoles prices.

Both are expensive, and far more then they need to be.
Both are reasons for high PC-game-cost and for reduced PC game development.
Both dont have real technical advantages to PC-games.
Both are not upgradeable.

So I definetly suggest none of them.

But if you really NEED a console... better spare some more money and get a Wii, that supports Nintendo and the development of new ideas... games are not more expensive, and you can use the beamer also for pc-games and videos.... The difference between blueray and DVD is definetly not a reason to buy a console, if people really believe in this they fell for cheap advertisment arguments that were made for children to have arguments to convince their parents (Dad, you would benefit too!)

BTW: NEED = something that provides life going on; WISH = motivation to take responsibility... WANNAHAVE = way to stress parents to get their childs quiet by investing money

I depend on the games and not the power, If there is a game I like I'l buy that console for it(Ofcourse I don't have any next-gen consoles in real life just the old PSX)

I'd say for me it would be the PS3, It has Metal Gear Solid 4 and Armored Core 4, I have AC Ghost Babel or something like that(The sequel to AC)On PSX And it was fun, So yeah I'm definitely for PS3.

1) graphics don't matter in my opinion, gameplay all the way.

umm actually if i had the money I'd get a ps3 for its rpg etc, fps aren't realy that good imo.

but if the console range had more variation I'd actually choose the PSX/PS1 now thats a console were games had decent story lines along with the good old tekkens a long with my favourite game oddworld abes exodus.

In between playing Gears of War, Halo3, Chromehounds, DOA4, and Dead Rising ofcourse.

If the PC had PS3 and Xbox 360 games, there would be no reason for these consoles to exist...

The point: BAN the consoles, except for the handheld and the Wii. We need something to play on when we travel, and the Wii is original.

There is nothing special about the PS3 and Xbox 360. We can play all those games.

In my case, i ask my self: Why aren't there cool racing games, fighting games, fun games, sport games on the PC? We can't have DBZ and Wrestling, but they can have Call of Duty?

All games can be played on the PC.

All games, except FPS and RTS, can be played on consoles. Soo?

We only need gamepads. No matter "where" (consoles) they came from.

It is true that most games come out on PC as well, but a couple of thing to remember.
1: You can get a much larger TV than monitor.
2: Each game has it's own specifications, but they are all made to fit with the console, so you know they are always going to run. With PC, you've got no guarantee that the game won't lag or even run, and then you have to go and upgade the damn thing, which will end up costing more than the PS3 anyways.....
3: With consoles you use a controller, which gives a much more real feel to the game, making it feel like you're actually in it.....
(BTW, there will be no final agreement between console, consol and PC.... so you can state your opinion, but WHAT is the point in flaming? Just agree to disagree)

I agree with this, those complaining about the price of the ps3 (or even consoles).Dont you realise that PC's cost a bit of money to?
