I have the same problem, when I get to the character select the game freezes and I have to terminate it. Build: 8639 Intel Centrino dual core 2.0 Ghz ATI 4570 I also can't change the key settings for some reason, no matter what I press it doesn't ask for a new key. |

Re: alpha problem I don't know if it's related to this problem, but make sure all of your drivers are updated, most importantly your video drivers which should be available at the manufacturers website.

Re: alpha problem A clean install of the 11.8 drivers fixed the problem, first time a driver update solved my issues.
