FTF: All info you need to mod LBZ is allready in LBZ implemented. you can figutre out nearly all stuff on your own. If you dont want to think or do boring work, dont try to make mods.
download two or three clean charmods.
compare them with the LBZmainfile.
The mod must be an uncompressed (storage) zipfile
The foldertree must be identical with lbzmain*
textures must be 32bit rlecompressed 128²,256²or512² .tga
sounds must be 22.5 khz .wav or .mp3
models must be half life .mdl files
nearly all files can be edited with an texteditor.
learn to make levels, change, add and modify moves and chars before you start with the modeling and scripting tutorials.
*files that have their positions defined in a other file can be placed whereever you like.
BTW... I think effective speedpainting needs a tablet. its preassuresensitive and more ergonomic... speedpainting via mouse would possibly soon damage your wrist... and you surely wont speed up to penspeed...
Did anyone ever consider cracking up a optical mouse and to rearrange parts to a optical pen?
?isnt it written: If you want a thing done properly you've got to do it yourself.
